University Conduct Board

The University Conduct Board is comprised of a pool of faculty members and students.  Student members are selected by an application and interview process overseen by the Office of Student Conduct.

Each Board may be comprised of five total faculty and student members.

The position of serving on the Board requires a commitment of time, energy, dedication, and impartiality.  Board members play an integral role in educating their peers about their rights and responsibilities as members of the Appalachian community, upholding community behavioral standards, and implementing the Academic Integrity Code.

Join the Board as a student member!

Student members of the Board must meet and maintain the following minimum qualifications:

  • Be a full time student at the University,
  • Be in good disciplinary standing with the University,
  • Have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or above.
