University Conduct Board
The University Conduct Board is comprised of a pool of faculty members and students. Student members are selected by an application and interview process overseen by the Office of Student Conduct.
The position of serving on the University Conduct Board requires a commitment of time, energy, dedication, and impartiality. Board members play an integral role in educating their peers about their rights and responsibilities as members of the Appalachian community, upholding community behavioral standards, and implementing the Code of Student Conduct and the Academic Integrity Code.

Student members of the Board must meet and maintain the following minimum qualifications:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the University.
- Must maintain good disciplinary standing with the University.
- Must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.3 or higher, once institutional GPA is established.
